Established in 1990 by two expert Taiko drummers who had previously performed with globally acclaimed groups such as Ondekoza, Japanese Taiko Denver delivers authentic Taiko drumming that energizes any occasion.

Specializing in customized performances tailored to each client's requirements in terms of duration, scale, and style, these Taiko drummers offer thunderous shows ideal for invigorating corporate gatherings and captivating guests at cultural events—and everything in between. They have previously entertained at events for Microsoft, Kawasaki, Delta Airlines, Sony, and Hewlett Packard, and when not based in Denver, they tour across the USA, performing at a variety of events and venues.

Showcasing traditional Japanese Taiko as well as original compositions that blend contemporary, traditional, and world music styles, the group plays using various traditional Japanese drums, including odaiko (large), chudaiko (medium), shimedaiko (small), and also incorporate the bamboo flute known as a shinobue.

Their repertoire of rhythmic grooves and heart-pounding beats, along with creative arrangements and choreography, culminates in a dynamic and high-energy show that leaves a lasting impression on any audience.
