Jazz Band Gothenburg

Since their formation in 1989, Jazz Band Gothenburg has become one of the most beloved traditional jazz bands in Europe.

Their distinctive style emerges from the group’s diverse musical backgrounds and their passion for the New Orleans revival style, which serves as their primary inspiration.

Blending traditional jazz and spirituals, they also cover popular tracks by artists such as Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Louis Prima, Pete Seeger, and Bob Marley.

Known for their innovative improvisations and arrangements, this professional band has had exceptional opportunities to perform at numerous jazz clubs and festivals over the years. Additionally, they have made appearances on TV and radio in countries such as England, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Finland, Denmark, Norway, and, naturally, Sweden.
