Ray is a solo trumpeter with over 20 years of professional experience in the music industry.
Influenced by jazz legends like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, Ray began playing piano at the age of 7, cornet at 8, and moved to the trumpet at age 16. He pursued his professional studies at Kingston University and the Royal Academy of Music, leading to a highly successful career. He has performed for Princess Diana, collaborated with stars like Robbie Williams and Beverly Knight, and contributed to Chris Tomlin’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Burning Lights’ for the song ‘God’s Great Dancefloor’.
Having also had long-term residencies in UK nightclubs, including Chameleon Bar in Birmingham, Ray is a versatile performer who can adapt his style to fit a variety of settings. Whether delivering smooth jazz classics solo at a sophisticated dinner or adding high-energy sax depth to a DJ set in a high-end nightclub, Ray offers thrilling entertainment that captivates his audience.
