Jazz Trumpet Player

Ray is a solo trumpeter with over 20 years of professional experience in the music industry.

Inspired by jazz legends like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, Ray started playing piano at age 7, picked up the cornet at 8, and advanced to the trumpet by 16. He pursued his professional studies at Kingston University and the Royal Academy of Music, leading to a highly successful career. He's performed for Princess Diana, worked with artists like Robbie Williams and Beverly Knight, and recorded on Chris Tomlin’s Grammy-nominated album ‘Burning Lights’ for the song ‘God’s Great Dancefloor’.

Holding long-term residencies in UK nightclubs, including Chameleon Bar in Birmingham, Ray is a versatile performer who adapts his style to fit a variety of settings. Whether playing smooth jazz classics solo at an elegant dinner or adding high-energy sax to a DJ set in an upscale nightclub, Ray delivers thrilling entertainment that captivates his audience.
