Sand Sculptor Daniel
Sand Sculpture Daniel hails from the vibrant city of Dublin in Ireland. With a background in sculpture from the Dublin Institute of Technology's College of Marketing & Design, Daniel has dedicated the past ten years to various projects both in Ireland and internationally. Here are a few noteworthy ones:
- 2005: Video composition to accompany the performance of ‘Boil’ at the Estonian Music Days Festival.
- 2004: Co-produced, directed, and edited the ‘Cool Carvings’ ice carving documentary.
- 1996~2002: Built props and sets for numerous music promos and advertisements.
- 1996~2002: Served as a sculpture assistant to the renowned Irish artist Patrick O’ Reilly, providing technical support and fabrication for many of his sculptures.
- 2001: Lead sculptor for the Burren Interpretive Centre in Kilfinora, County Clare.
- 1996~2000: Decorative painter for numerous bars, nightclubs, and restaurants in Ireland and abroad with the company ‘Paint Works’.
Since graduating, Daniel has earned numerous awards & accolades for his sand sculptures and has showcased his artistry at events worldwide.
