Showband Sweden

The Swedish Showband was formed in 1984 in Stockholm and has performed numerous shows and tours across Scandinavia. In recent years, the band has also performed in France, Germany, Spain, Greece, and has made several tours to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Their illustrious career was highlighted by performing at the Royal wedding of H.R.H Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling.

The band's unique blend of Soul, disco, and jazz, infused with Las Vegas glamour and Frank Sinatra's charm, has made them the premier entertainment orchestra in Sweden, and their international reputation is rapidly growing.

This eleven-piece ensemble is a dynamic dance machine led by bandleader and singer Richard Hager. Rooted in 70's and 80's disco and sprinkled with a big band feel, their sound is influenced by easy listening, classic soul, and funk. The powerful sound of their five-piece horn section, reminiscent at times of Basie, and at others of Earth Wind and Fire, is one of the band's standout features!

The Showband frequently collaborates with other artists and specializes in glamorous events, performing at venues ranging from intimate living rooms to expansive football fields!

The band even has its own ballet troupe with up to eight dancers, delivering that ultimate Vegas extravaganza! More white feathers for everyone!
