Showband Sweden

The Swedish-based Showband was formed in 1984 in Stockholm and has performed countless shows and tours all over Scandinavia. In recent years, the band has played in France, Germany, Spain, and Greece, and has completed several tours to Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Their long career was crowned by performing at the royal wedding of H.R.H Crown Princess Victoria and Daniel Westling.

The band's unique blend of soul, disco, and jazz, infused with the glamour of Las Vegas and the charm of Frank Sinatra, has made them the top entertainment orchestra in Sweden, and their international reputation is growing quickly.

This eleven-piece band is a dance powerhouse led by bandleader and singer Richard Hager. Rooted in 70's and 80's disco and enhanced with a big band feel and influences from easy listening, classic soul, and funk, the band delivers an impressive sound. The five-piece horn section sometimes echoes Basie, sometimes Earth Wind and Fire, making it one of the band's standout features!

The Showband frequently collaborates with other artists and specializes in glamorous events, having performed at venues ranging from living rooms to football fields!

The band even has its own ballet, with up to eight dancers, for that truly over-the-top Vegas experience. More white feathers for everyone!
