Tenor Ugo
Tenor Ugo discovered his remarkable voice at a very young age and delighted his school friends and teachers during breaks. He has a unique talent that few singers possess, being both a tenor and a sopranist.
At the age of 16, Ugo began performing professionally in front of peers and colleagues. This experience boosted his confidence to sing for an audience, leading to a three-year stint at one of Europe's most prestigious music halls and cabarets, where Tenor Ugo performed night after night.
One memorable evening in May 1996, Alain Liberty, director of Radio Active in Paris, was in the audience and was astounded by Ugo's talent. Alain immediately offered to become Ugo's producer.
In September 1998, after a year and a half of dedicated work, Ugo's first album Preces Meae, which means "My Prayers" in Latin, was released by Sony Music. The album achieved international acclaim, and Preces Meae, Ugo's first single, reached number one on Turkey's single chart.
A French and international tour followed, with Ugo performing at iconic venues such as The Olympia, The Sports Palais, and Paris Zenith.
Ugo's success has continued, and in 2012, he was a finalist on Belgium's Got Talent, finishing in second place.
