Barney Storey MBE

The world’s most successful sprint tandem pilot, Barney has won three Paralympic gold medals and six world titles. He has competed both in London 2012 and  Beijing in 2008. After 2012, Barney became an endurance athlete before launching a women’s cycling team to support the comeback of his wife, Sarah.

Under his direction, the women in the team have won an astonishing 105 races across three years and supported international riders on national teams for Australia, Ireland and Great Britain.

Known for his unwavering work ethic - mentoring young riders and supporting all age groups with coaching and advice - he gives generously of his time.

His down-to-earth nature has made him a popular choice on the speakers circuit. He offers unique insights into the sporting world and working with and cultivating teams.
