Barney Storey MBE

The world’s most successful sprint tandem pilot, Barney, has won three Paralympic gold medals and six world titles. He competed in both London 2012 and Beijing 2008. After 2012, Barney transitioned to an endurance athlete and later launched a women’s cycling team to support his wife Sarah’s comeback.

Under his leadership, the team has triumphed in an amazing 105 races over three years and supported international riders from national teams in Australia, Ireland, and Great Britain.

He is known for his tireless work ethic, mentoring young riders and offering coaching and advice to all age groups, always giving generously of his time.

His relatable demeanor has made him a popular choice on the speaking circuit. He provides unique insights into the sports world and team development. His work with disabled athletes and dedication to overcoming physical challenges make him an ideal motivational speaker.
