Bulgarian Folk Band

This six-piece Bulgarian Folk Band mixes the folk rhythms of Bulgaria with contemporary music and bass sounds. Our artists enrich traditional Bulgarian music and create a unique and personal style by playing instruments such as the kaval, the didgeridoo and the tupan!

This band is formed by six contemporary folk musicians with a shared passion for both Bulgarian folklore and contemporary music. Strongly inspired by past and present, they love exploring their musical roots and regenerating them with new rhythms.

Our live folk band’s music is a blend of folk melodies, orthodox-style chanting, distant aboriginal themes, hip-hop, dubstep, trap D’n’B, and irregular rhythms! Our female singers also pay tribute to Bulgaria’s folklore by wearing traditional costumes, beautiful dresses characterised by their vibrant colours and flowers.

The unique combination of folklore elements with global music styles helps our musicians appeal to wider audiences. This mix of old school and new school makes listeners of all ages meet on the dance floor! Whatever the event, our artists will bring an authentic taste of Bulgaria to any celebration through music.
