Simon was born in Winchester in the UK, but currently lives and works in Beijing. Prior to moving to China he worked as a News Correspondent at the BBC, before joining Channel Five News as a Reporter and Presenter. In 2013 he moved to China's main news channel CCTV as their Sports Anchor, where he presents 2 live shows per day. Outside of broadcasting he has done various public speaking engagements, including dinners, auctions and parties.
When not working, Simon plays and watches a variety of sports, enjoys cooking, and is slowly but surely learning to speak Chinese.
