Indian Puppet Show

Perfect for events with an Indian bizarre or fair theme, this puppet theatre transports audiences to the palace of Maharajah in Rajasthan where beautifully decorated and expertly handcrafted puppets (Kathpulti) perform spectacular tricks and juggling. Utterly engaging, each puppet character has a lifelike character and individual personality. 

Trained by a marionette master in a Rajasthani village, this puppet master learned the skilful finger technique with which to control the puppet strings directly in the traditional way. 

The puppet show lasts for 40 minutes and can be followed by a ‘meet and greet’ with a puppets and Q&A by the puppeteer. A humorous glove puppet sketch can be included as a light-hearted interlude.
