Classical Flutist Mark
Classical flutist Mark has received numerous prestigious international awards and maintains an active career as both a performer and educator.
With a National Arts Council grant, Mark was selected from a global pool of classical artists to compete at the esteemed Tunbridge Well's International Young Concert Artist Competition in London. He also won the International Robert Walter Storr music scholarship in Australia.
As a classical recitalist, Mark performs both regionally and internationally. Recently, he was invited to perform the Mozart D major flute concerto at the Esplanade recital studio. A passionate promoter of the arts, Mark serves as the treasurer of the Flute Association of Singapore, a non-profit organization that co-organizes the annual Singapore Flute Festival, engaging world-class artists and managing the Singapore Flute Festival Orchestra.
To date, classical flutist Mark has maintained an active performance career, with celebrated performances across this region, Australia, and the United States. He has collaborated in concerts that raised over $200,000 for charity and has appeared on Sri Lankan national TV performing the Chaminade Flute concertino.
