The choir's music is rooted in contemporary gospel, uniquely blending jazz, soul, funk, latin, and “modern classical”. There are twenty-five singers at full strength, predominantly professionals, many of whom are prominent in London’s jazz, rock, and entertainment scenes. In their eight-year history, they have featured lead singers from West End shows and jazz and soul recording artists, as well as experienced choral directors, session singers, and songwriters. The band is also composed of London's top session and jazz talent.

Due to the shortage of repertoire compatible with the Roman Catholic mass, the choir has commissioned a significant amount of original work: five complete mass settings (including one by renowned British jazz guitarist and band leader Dave Okumu), ten psalm tones, over thirty rearrangements of traditional songs (e.g., “When I Survey the Wondrous Cross”, “Soul of my Saviour”), and more than fifty entirely new pieces.

The choir has performed at Westminster Cathedral, Birmingham Cathedral (R4’s Sunday Worship), Revelation TV, BBC Four (TV), 606 Jazz Club, Marlborough Jazz Festival, Pentecost Festival (Leicester Square), Spirit in the City (Soho Square), BBC R4’s Morning Service, BBC London Live, Premier Christian Radio (broadcast and events), with Eric Clapton/Roger Taylor/Jeff Beck for HASTE in Godalming, plus many other churches, schools, and community venues.
