Our exceptional gypsy jazz band and ethnic music band offer an eclectic blend of folk music, Romanian gypsy music, and traditional tunes. With a distinctive sound and appearance, they make a remarkable addition to any event.

Based in Cape Town, this gypsy jazz band is ideal if you’re seeking that unique touch to create a beautiful and unforgettable atmosphere for your occasion. Perfect for weddings, corporate events, private parties, and festivals, our ethnic music band brings the melodies of the Al-Andalus mountains, the rhythms of the Middle East, and the dances from the depths of the Sahara to life on stage.

Their repertoire features beautifully composed original pieces and unique renditions of traditional folk music from around the world. Drawing inspiration from Beirut, Balkan Beat Box, and Yemen Blue, they perform Andalusian folk songs, Romanian gypsy music, and Klezmer and Arabic music with vocals in Spanish and Roma. As a 6-piece gypsy jazz band of multi-instrumentalists, they can adjust their line-up to include instruments such as saxophone, trumpet, saw, hulusi, mandolin, guitar, accordion, double bass, darbuka, daf, riq, cajón, zills, and castanets.

If your event calls for something extra special, one of the band members is a professional belly dancer and can perform a traditional fusion belly dance alongside the band. As the founder of a renowned belly dance company, a belly dance duo or group can be booked to perform in accompaniment with our gypsy jazz band.
