Harpist Juan
Experience the timeless allure of a bygone era with the enchanting music of Juan's harp, providing a delightful background ambiance for various events.
The harp, often referred to as the 'instrument of the gods,' has ancient origins and emits a magical 'fairy tale' sound that captivates any audience, transforming ordinary events into elegant, emotionally resonant experiences.
Gifted harpist Juan began his musical journey at a young age, starting with the Youth Orchestra and Youth Symphonic Band of Castile and León, of which he is a founding member, and at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid.
In 2009, he completed his harp studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid with honors and has since performed recitals in cities such as Madrid, Verona, Rabat, Palencia, Salamanca, Barcelona, Valladolid, and Sevilla.
Juan has been recognized twice for his harp mastery and was recently awarded the TIM Italy, leading to an invitation to perform in Verona. He also received the foundation Miguel Angel Colmenero award as one of the year's top performers.
As a soloist, Juan has performed with various prestigious ensembles, including the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Castilla and Leon, Youth Orchestra of the Conservatory of Salamanca, Caja Duero Camerata Orchestra, and Philharmonic Baroque Camerata of Palencia and Madrid.
He has also collaborated with numerous orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra, Russian State Orchestra, Rostov Philharmonic Orchestra of Morocco, Orchestra Netherlands Chamber Choir Francis Poulenc, Camerata Caja Duero, Symphony Extremadura Symphony Orchestra Albacete, and the Orchestra of the Conservatory of Salamanca.
Deeply involved in contemporary music, Juan regularly works with the Ensemble for Contemporary Music at the Conservatory of Salamanca and the National Ensemble of Spain. He has also released three works for harp and electroacoustic music.
