Taiko is a traditional Japanese drumming style with a rich history spanning thousands of years. Today, Taiko groups are bringing this captivating art form to audiences around the globe. Taiko stands to be the first native Japanese music to gain worldwide popularity.

Drumming enthusiast Daisuke, born and raised in Hyogo prefecture, founded this Japanese Taiko group in 2008. Daisuke developed a passion for percussion instruments early on and transitioned to Japanese Taiko in his early 20's.

In 2003, he moved to Tokyo where he played with various professional groups before launching a solo career to refine his unique sound. Daisuke brought together two emerging stars in the Taiko world to establish his Japanese Taiko Entertainment group.

Since then, the group has expanded and toured globally, performing in the US, Caribbean, and South East Asia. They have also collaborated on various projects, such as the soundtrack for the Korean TV Drama "The Legend" and working with Japanese pop group EXILE.

The Japanese Taiko Drummers present Taiko in a contemporary and theatrical style, featuring precise choreography, dramatic lighting, and a variety of stunning costumes made from luxurious earthy silks. Their concerts are musically diverse, showcasing powerful rhythms, massive Taiko drums, expressive percussion, and dance.
