Hong Kong's longest-established jazz/swing band has been delighting audiences for over 40 years. They began their musical journey in the early 70s at the iconic Godown in Central, then Hong Kong’s premier live jazz venue.
As the foremost swing band in Hong Kong, they have shared the stage with top international jazz stars at The Hong Kong Jazz Festival and have also performed at the Kobe, Osaka, and Macau Jazz Festivals. This renowned band has played regularly at Cafe Deco on The Peak, the original Jazz Club in Lan Kwai Fong, and the HK Convention and Exhibition Centre. They are frequently invited to perform at Government House, the Consular Corps Ball, and other prestigious events.
The jazz band is a sought-after choice for private functions such as balls, dinners, weddings, private parties, corporate events, and jazz festivals across Hong Kong and the region, including Macau, China, and Japan. The venues they often play at include hotels, clubs, and bars/restaurants.
The band features a talented line-up with band leader John (trumpet/vocals), Bayani (alto sax/clarinet), Oliver (tenor sax/clarinet), Franco (tenor sax/clarinet), Peter (piano), Ken (guitar), Steve (bass), and Tom (drums). The members hail from England, Scotland, USA, France, Italy, and Japan.
