Jazz Band Uganda

Blending the sounds of Afro-beat, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae, RnB, Hip Hop, and modern improvisational styles, Jazz Band Uganda also incorporates various cultural influences and languages into their performances.

Based in Kampala, the group merges soulful vocals, addictive rhythms, instrumental solos, percussion, and tongue-twisting free-style rap into an accessible Afro-beat style popularized in Africa in the 1970s.

Collectively, the band has over 10 years of experience performing live at corporate events, dinners, private parties, festivals, and more. The band is highly adaptable and can cover songs in English, Arabic, and various Bantu languages such as Swahili and Rutoro.
