Jazz Band Uganda

Blending the sounds of Afro-beat, Soul, Jazz, Blues, Funk, Reggae, RnB, Hip Hop and modern improvisational styles, Jazz Band Uganda also incorporate various cultural influences and languages into their performances.

Based in Kampala, the group merge soulful vocals, addictive rhythms, instrumental solos, percussion and tongue twisting free-style rap into an accessible Afro-beat style popularised in Africa in the 1970s.

Collectively the band has over 10 years experience performing live at corporate events, dinners, private parties, festivals and more. The band are highly adaptable and can cover songs in English, Arabic and various Bantu languages such as Swahili and Rutoro.
