Last Post Cornet Player

The sounding of the ‘Last Post’ is one of the most poignant and moving experiences one can witness. As a current serving member of the Army Reserve with the Regimental Band of The Royal Welsh, our cornet player Andrew deeply understands its significance and importance to Military personnel and their families.

With over 30 years of experience performing the ‘Last Post’ and ‘Reveille’, Andrew is fully knowledgeable of all the necessary ceremonial protocols, ensuring his duties are carried out with the utmost professionalism and dignity.

In 2013, Andrew was entrusted by the Regimental Band of The Royal Welsh to perform the ‘Last Post’ at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff to an audience of approximately 70,000 and several million viewers worldwide on live television.
