Mezzo Soprano Emily
Emily is a Mezzo-soprano specializing in Opera, Classical, and Classical crossover repertoire.
Emily's passion for Classical music began at age 13 when she started her training as a classical singer, studying voice for 5 years at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2008, she secured a place at the Royal Northern College of Music on the BMus Vocal and Opera course, from which she recently graduated with an Honours Degree. During her time at the college, she performed notable roles such as Dorabella in Cosi fan Tutte, Dorethee in Cendrillon, and Olga in Eugene Onegin, as well as participating in performances of Carmen, Clemenza di Tito, and Die Fledermaus.
Emily has graced some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including Wembley Stadium, where she opened the FA Premier League 1 & 2 finals match, and the Royal Albert Hall. She also had the privilege of performing with the acclaimed English Tenor, Russell Watson, on his National Jubilee Tour last summer.
She has sung with various major choirs, including Arts Symphonic and Cantate youth choir, where she regularly performed as a soloist in concerts at St Paul's, The Welsh National Eisteddfod, and numerous venues in Italy. She has also had the honor of singing for the President of Kazakhstan.
