Mezzo Soprano Emily
Emily is a mezzo-soprano who covers opera, classical, and classical crossover repertoire.
Emily has always loved classical music and started her training as a classical singer at 13, studying voice for 5 years at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2008, she was accepted into the Royal Northern College of Music for the BMus Vocal and Opera course, recently graduating with an Honors Degree. During her time there, her roles included Dorabella in Cosi fan Tutte, Dorethee in Cendrillon, Olga in Eugene Onegin, as well as performances in Carmen, Clemenza di Tito, and Die Fledermaus.
Emily has performed at some of the UK's most renowned venues, including Wembley Stadium where she opened the FA Premier League 1 & 2 finals match, and the Royal Albert Hall. She also sang with the acclaimed English Tenor, Russell Watson, on his National Jubilee Tour last summer.
She has sung with various major choirs, including Arts Symphonic and Cantate Youth Choir, regularly performing as a soloist in concerts at St. Paul’s, the Welsh National Eisteddfod, and various venues in Italy. She has also sung for the President of Kazakhstan.
