Opera Duo

This remarkable operatic duo met during an American tour of Puccini’s Madame Butterfly 10 years ago. Since then, they have enjoyed a tremendously successful career, performing together at concerts, charity events, corporate gatherings, and private functions, all while pursuing their individual opera careers.

When they first met, Carla was retraining herself to sing after losing her voice several years earlier, and Barbara was exploring singing as a professional career. This extraordinary encounter set them on a path to become a sensational duo, impressing global superstars when they appeared on BBC’s The Voice 2013. All four judges turned for this duo, leading them to be coached by Will.I.Am.

Now regularly performing with opera and musical theatre companies and working as vocal coaches, they have appeared across the country singing opera duets, adding their unique touch to some of the world’s most renowned pieces.
