Opera Duo

This stunning operatic duo met on an American tour of Puccini’s Madame Butterfly 10 years ago. Since then they have had a hugely successfully career singing and performing together at concerts, charity events, corporate events and private functions whilst also pursuing careers in opera.

When they first met Carla was just retraining herself to sing again after having lost her voice several years previously and Barbara was exploring singing as a professional career. This extraordinary chance meeting set them on a path to become a singing sensation that would impress global superstars when they appeared on BBC’s The Voice 2013. All four judges turned for this duo and they went on to be coached by Will.I.Am.

Now regularly performing with opera and musical theatre companies and acting as vocal coaches themselves, they have appeared all over the country singing opera duets, putting their own special spin on some of the world’s most famous pieces.
