The Stilt Songstress offers high-quality musical stilt characters designed to seamlessly fit any event theme. Every version of the act combines costumed stilt-walking with live singing. Music and costume designs range from black tie to children's festivals. At its most elegant, the performance features a wireless microphone system amplified through the event's PA system. Roving is possible with most costumes, and a self-contained portable PA system can be integrated into the costume. The act is suitable for both indoor and outdoor settings and requires a height clearance of only 8 feet.
Panthea’s professional career as a multidisciplinary artist spans 16 years and includes performances in opera, musical theatre, art song, pop & contemporary rock, goth metal, circus, folk & street.
Beyond her extensive corporate and festival performances as the Stilt Songstress, Panthea has credits as a singer/actor with Holland America Inc, Showtime Networks, CBC Radio 1 & 2, USA Networks, Twentieth Century Fox, and The Victoria Symphony Orchestra. She has also collaborated with numerous Canadian arts organizations, including Ballet Victoria, Out of the Box Productions, and Cirqua Zerna.
