Traditional Russian Gypsy Show
A stunning Russian Gypsy Show featuring traditional Romani Gypsy music and dance from Russia and Eastern Europe. This performance showcases virtuosic music and fiery traditional Gypsy dance, highlighting well-known Gypsy favorites and rare musical treasures in distinct arrangements. With striking dance choreographies, this show transports spectators on a nostalgic journey to Russia. It features stunning handcrafted traditional costumes and is the only performance of its kind in the UK.
The 7-8-piece ensemble features dexterously played violin, accordion, guitar, percussion, cello, and beautiful vocals, creating an exotic, upbeat, and haunting sound that mesmerizes the audience. Accompanied by 1 or 2 dancers, this performance is truly captivating.
All performers and musicians are professionals with extensive experience, having performed at numerous arts centers, private events, and festivals throughout the UK and Europe. They have also appeared on TV in the UK, Germany, and Turkey. The show can be adapted to suit any venue size: from 3 dancers and a 6-piece music ensemble for larger events to 1 dancer and a 2-piece musical ensemble for more intimate spaces.
A feast for the eyes and ears, guests and audiences of all ages will be amazed and captivated by this stunning show. This act is perfect for Russia, Gypsy, Eastern European, and Russian Winter / Christmas themed events.
The project was created by a violinist specializing in Eastern European Romany music and culture. The ensemble has been featured on Turkish Television and at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. They have also provided highlights at various Russian and international functions, private festivities, and corporate events for Rosgosstrakh Insurance, Chaika events, and similar occasions.
