Virtual Chinese Tea Tasting
FAQs
1. What can I expect from Virtual Chinese Tea Tasting?
Indulge in an engaging and educational experience with a top-tier tea specialist. Our online tea tasting class introduces you to the art of preparing and pouring different Chinese tea varieties. You'll get an overview of 6 categories of tea - green, white, yellow, oolong, black, and dark tea.
After choosing one tea (5g) for tasting, guests will guess its category and share their impressions with the group to build a tasting profile. Our tea master will demonstrate the brewing process and encourage guests to follow along.
Online participants will also be shown photographs of the tea garden where the tea is cultivated, maps of the locations, and will learn key steps in tea manufacturing. Our knowledgeable host will discuss the history and health benefits of the teas and advise which tea to drink according to the season and time of day.
