Virtual Smoothie Workshop
FAQs
1. How does this class work?
This is a live-streamed event typically held over Zoom, though other video conferencing platforms can be considered. In this engaging and interactive workshop, guests will learn how to incorporate fresh whole plant-based smoothies into their daily diet and make simple yet delicious drinks.
Our host, working from her kitchen, uses a high-quality professional camera for the footage. Each workshop starts with a brief introduction about our host's background in nutrition and experience in the smoothie business. She'll highlight the numerous health benefits of plant-based smoothies and explain the ingredient list for the class. From there, our host will demonstrate how to prep the ingredients and blend your tasty smoothies! The workshop also includes a brief demo on making fun fruit ice-pops.
Each workshop will also cover how to clean and maintain your equipment, and if there's time at the end, guests will be invited to join a Q&A session. Alternatively, questions can be submitted throughout the event via the chat function on the video conferencing platform during the workshop.
2. What do guests need to participate?
There are several ways to take part in this activity. Although it's highly encouraged that guests 'blend along' with the workshop, this is by no means mandatory. Guests can still engage and participate via the online chat function on the video conferencing platform! If guests wish to follow along, they'll need a blender, some basic kitchen equipment, and the ingredients for the drinks. A shopping list will be provided prior to the event, and the required ingredients should be easily available from your local supermarket.
Otherwise, guests will just need a device to watch the workshop on, a strong internet connection, and they will receive downloadable PDFs of various health and wellness worksheets.
These workshops are equally fun and interesting for those following along with the recipes and for those who are not. They are led by an experienced host who knows how to keep guests engaged throughout the online class.
3. How long are the workshops?
You can book these workshops for either 50 or 90 minutes, depending on how many smoothies you would like to make.
4. How many can participate in this workshop?
The ideal number of participants is up to 12, though our host offers some flexibility on this number. Much larger group sizes can also be accommodated, but this will impact the delivery of the workshop and the amount of interaction with the host. Please contact us for more details on larger class sizes.
