1. What happens in a Virtual Terrarium Class?
Online participants will delve into the workings of a terrarium and listen to a brief overview of its 200-year history. Our green-thumbed expert will showcase all materials, substrates, plants, and tools to ensure guests fully understand what they're working with. Participants will then follow our host's real-time, step-by-step instructions to craft their own terrariums in a glass candy jar or apothecary jar. Once everyone has completed their mini-ecosystems, our host will conclude with top care tips.
2. What's included in the virtual terrarium workshop?
A live-streamed virtual workshop hosted via Zoom or Jitsi. Additionally, all necessary materials and tools are sent to participants in advance, including specific plant soil, gravel, decorative stones, plants, a candy jar or apothecary jar, and tools. Participants need a stable internet connection and a laptop/PC/tablet with a built-in camera or webcam to join.
3. Who and how many people can take part?
This virtual workshop is limited to residents of Germany, as the terrarium kits (essential for the workshop) can only be shipped to German addresses. Each online class accommodates between 5 and 30 participants.
4. How long is the Virtual Terrarium Class?
Approximately 1.5 hours.
5. How interactive is this online workshop?
Very interactive! Guests can ask our host questions in real-time or through the chat function and communicate with each other as they create their mini-gardens in glass.
6. Can the terrarium kits be customized?
It might be possible to apply branded client logo stickers to each glass jar before shipping, subject to additional costs. Please inquire for more details.
