Virtual Soap Making Workshops
FAQs
1. What can I expect from this workshop?
This is a live-streamed experience conducted via Zoom or another video conferencing platform. Our host will introduce herself, discuss the product you'll be creating, and share insights about her expertise in making natural cosmetics. Filming will be done using a Galaxy A20e camera phone, alternating between face-to-face discussions and close-ups of the workspace during the soap-making demonstration. This format ensures guests can easily follow every step. The workshop concludes with a brief discussion, additional tips from our host, and a Q&A session.
2. Is this workshop interactive?
Absolutely! Guests are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class and in the Q&A session at the end. They will also be actively engaged in making the soap or self-care product during the class.
3. Do guests need anything to take part?
No prior experience is required to join the workshop. Guests will need basic equipment typically found at home (a list will be provided in advance) and the necessary ingredients, which our host can arrange to have delivered to their homes. Additionally, guests will need a strong WiFi connection and a device for viewing the workshop. As the host, you will need access to a video conferencing platform that accommodates your number of guests.
4. How many participants can join the workshop at any one time?
The workshop requires a minimum of 5 guests and can accommodate up to 50 guests. Please note, larger class sizes may limit the amount of direct interaction our host can offer each guest.
5. Can the show be customised?
Yes! Our host is happy to suggest different products tailored to your preferences. This could include creating a cosmetic for specific purposes (e.g., soap, scrubs) or a product with added fun elements (like bath bombs). Products can also feature various fragrances such as citrus scents for a refreshing vibe or lavender for relaxation.
