Virtual Soap Making Workshops
FAQs
1. What can I expect from this workshop?
This live-streamed workshop is held over Zoom or another video conferencing platform. Our host will introduce herself, talk about the product you'll be making, and chat with guests about her experiences making natural cosmetics. The artist uses a Galaxy A20e camera phone to film the workshop, switching between her face for discussions and her hands and workspace to demonstrate the soap-making process. This approach makes it easy to follow along, providing a clear view of every step. The workshop concludes with a brief discussion, additional tips from our host, and a Q&A session.
2. Is this workshop interactive?
Absolutely! Guests are encouraged to ask questions throughout the class and in the Q&A session at the end. They are actively engaged in making the soap or self-care product during the class.
3. Do guests need anything to take part?
Guests don't need prior experience to participate in the workshop. They will need some basic equipment found in most homes (we'll provide a list in advance) and the ingredients, which our host can arrange to be sent directly to your guests' homes. Additionally, each guest will need a strong Wi-Fi connection and a device to watch the workshop on. As the host, you'll also need access to a video conferencing platform that can accommodate your chosen number of guests.
4. How many participants can join the workshop at one time?
The workshop requires a minimum of 5 guests and can accommodate up to 50. Please note that larger class sizes may limit the amount of direct interaction our host can have with each guest.
5. Can the show be customized?
Yes! Our host can recommend different products to better match what you're looking to achieve from this workshop. This could include making a cosmetic for a specific purpose (e.g., soap, scrubs) or creating a more fun product like bath bombs. Products can also have different fragrances, such as citrus scents for freshness or lavender for relaxation.
