Mezzo-soprano Dawn is a theatrical soprano singer and teacher. With the most influential people in her life being operatic performers who also teach, Dawn found her inspiration and passion to teach others and share her love for classical opera.

Dawn has sung leading operatic roles and performed extensive solo concert work with the Amarillo Opera, Opera in the Heights, OrchestraX, Ars Lyrica Houston, the Moores Opera Centre, and the Manhattan School of Music Opera Theatre.

Her extensive solo concert work has included performances with the Houston Masterworks Chorus, the Houston Chamber Choir, the Alamo City Men's Chorale, the Men's Consort of Houston, the Mid-Texas Symphony, and the Symphony North of Houston.

Her concert repertoire includes solo work in Durufle’s Requiem, Handel’s Messiah, Israel in Egypt, and Judas Maccabeus, Vivaldi’s Gloria, Mozart’s Requiem, Solemn Vespers, and Coronation Mass, Debussy’s La Damoiselle Elue, Brahms’ Alto Rhapsody, Schubert’s Ständchen, Beethoven’s Mass in C, Choral Fantasy and Symphony No. 9, Honnegger’s King David, Bach’s Magnificat, Bernstein’s Chicester Psalms, Copland’s In the Beginning, and Haydn’s Mass in the Time of War.

Mezzo Soprano Dawn is currently pursuing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Houston's School of Music. She has performed in several roles for the world-renowned Manhattan School of Music Opera Theatre, including Ragonde in Le Comte Ory, La Voix de la Mére in Les Contes d'Hoffman, and Alma Allegretto in The Amazing Adventure of Alvin Allegretto.

A renowned operatic singer and teacher, Dawn was also recently named a finalist in the San Francisco Opera Centre's Merola Program.
