Paris Violinist Sarah
Based in Paris, violinist Sarah enjoys playing a wide variety of music in many genres and styles, and currently performs in Paris as a recitalist, chamber musician and with several professional orchestras including L'Orchestre-Atelier OstinatO, and L’orchestre de la Cité internationale, as well as chamber orchestras Amaltea Orchestra and others.
Originally from Seattle, Washington, Sarah has lived in New York City, Aspen, Colorado, and Cincinnati, Ohio. Her performance, recording, and festival credits include chamber and symphonic work with Les Enfoirés 2013 (Paris), Harpist Susan Alan in Romances Sans Paroles at CalArts (CA, USA), Classical Revolution (NYC and Paris), All Angels Gone with the COGE, jazz trombonist Marc Fields, collaborations with the Seattle Symphony and the Rolling Requiem, and others, in exciting locations such as Japan, Italy, and Great Britain. Sarah received her BM in Viola Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, studying with Masao Kawasaki and Dr. Catherine Carroll. She has also studied viola with Helen Callus and both violin and viola with Irwin I. Eisenberg.
