Performance Artist Ali
Indulging in hoops, fire, stilts, aerial-and at times all of them at once, international performance artist Ali weaves an intricate dance of joy and delight. She found the hoop in 2006 and has been growing her movement repertoire exponentially since. Exploring tribal fusion belly dance, Balinese dance, and classical Indian Odissi dance, as well as utilizing a great range of fire and circus tools, all allow Ali diverse opportunities to share her whimsy and magic.
New York based Ali provides a variety of services including fabulously costumed stilt walking, hula hooping with 1-7 hula hoops, LED hula hoops that are programmable to match any theme, Fire performance (fire hoop, fire fans, fire belt, fire headdresses, large fire props, etc), aerial hoop, Tribal Fusion bellydance, Odissi (classical Indian dance), and she plays musical saw. She also works with many different artists and has some special high-end boutique acts including the Intergalactic LED Stilting Unicorn Trio.
Ali performs at festivals internationally and was featured on “Project Runway” as the winning look on stilts.
