The Award winning Vintage Jazz Swing Band compose and perform original and classic music influenced by the Vintage Jazzy Swingin’ cool cat sounds of the 1920’s and 30’s, along with a taste of Western Swing, a mix of Gypsy Jazz magic, sprinkled over the top with a pinch of Retro Deco Rockabilly!
The band mix passionate violin, a blazing horn section, rocking guitars, slappin upright bass, and retro style drumming to harmoniously create their own unique, fun and artistic sound! The Vintage Jazz Swing Band comprises of Grammy award winners and musicians who have backed many of today's top performers including: The Jacksons, Paul McCartney, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Texas Playboys, Wynton Marsalis, Tony Bennett, Barbara Mandrell, Blues Brothers and many more!!
They have recently been accepted into two prestigious arts programs — the National Endowment for the Arts American Masterpieces touring program, the Touring Artist Program of the Texas Commission on the Arts, and have recently added another: the Mid-America Arts Alliance.
The Vintage Jazz Swing Band have played for 100's of events and are a popular choice for Great Gatsby events playing 1920’s, 30's and 40's music in authentic costume and more styles if needed too.
