Vintage Jazz Swing Band

The award-winning Vintage Jazz Swing Band writes and performs original and classic music inspired by the cool cat sounds of 1920s and '30s vintage jazz swing, with a touch of Western Swing and a mix of Gypsy Jazz magic, topped off with a pinch of Retro Deco Rockabilly!

The band blends passionate violin, a blazing horn section, rocking guitars, slapping upright bass, and retro-style drumming to create a unique, fun, and artistic sound! The Vintage Jazz Swing Band includes Grammy award winners and musicians who have backed many of today's top performers, including The Jacksons, Paul McCartney, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Texas Playboys, Wynton Marsalis, Tony Bennett, Barbara Mandrell, Blues Brothers, and many more!!

They have recently been accepted into two prestigious arts programs: the National Endowment for the Arts American Masterpieces touring program and the Touring Artist Program of the Texas Commission on the Arts. They have also recently added another: the Mid-America Arts Alliance.

The Vintage Jazz Swing Band has played at hundreds of events and is a popular choice for Great Gatsby events, performing 1920s, '30s, and '40s music in authentic costume and more styles if needed.
