Explore Unique Percussion Instruments
Invented in 2000 by Felix Rohner and Sabrina Schärer, the Hang is a percussion instrument belonging to the idiophone class. Constructed with two steel sheet half-shells glued together, the inside remains hollow. By using different materials and refining its shape, its inventors have created various versions of the Hang over the years.
Having worked closely with its inventors, our handpan player possesses deep knowledge of the instrument and has developed a unique and personal way of playing it.
