Invented in 2000 by Felix Rohner and Sabrina Schärer, the Hang is a percussion instrument that belongs to the idiophone class. Built with two steel sheet half-shells glued together, this union leaves the inside hollow. By using other materials refining its shape, its inventors have created different variations of the Hang over the years.
Having worked closely with its inventors, our hardpan player has deep knowledge of how the instrument and has developed a unique and personal way of playing it.
Handpan Music for Events
Introducing audiences to this 21st-century instrument, this unique musician has collaborated with different artists, filmmakers and producers to create hardpan music for events but also movies and TV.
Our talented artist has performed in big venues in Spain and worldwide including countries such as Sweden, Germany, the UK, the Czech Republic, Belgium and Austria, to name a few.
This hardpan solo artist is currently based in Barcelona and available for live performances and workshops across Spain and worldwide.
