Handpan Percussionist
A dedicated musician and performer, this Handpan Percussionist became one of the world's first handpan players after training and working with the Hang creators in Switzerland.
Enthusiastic about unique percussion instruments in general and the Hang in particular, this handpan player has devoted his life to music and the Hang.
Discover Unique Percussion Instruments
Invented in 2000 by Felix Rohner and Sabrina Schärer, the Hang is a percussion instrument that belongs to the idiophone class. Made with two steel sheet half-shells glued together, this union leaves the inside hollow. By using other materials and refining its shape, its inventors have created different variations of the Hang over the years.
Having worked closely with its inventors, our handpan player has deep knowledge of the instrument and has developed a unique and personal style of playing it.
