Japanese Calligrapher
Born in Kumamoto, Japan, this talented artist began practicing Japanese calligraphy at just six years old and has since shared this exquisite, ancient Japanese art form at various events and with audiences worldwide.
With a remarkable natural gift for this art and an ability to execute each brush stroke with seamless fluidity and confidence, she was honored with the title of "Master" at 18 and later awarded the prestigious title of "Professor" by the Japan Calligraphy Foundation the following year. With this highest distinction, she was given the calligrapher name "佳萩," symbolizing a graceful yet resilient wildflower blooming in the rugged mountains, adding a special charm to its surroundings.
Throughout her illustrious career, she has been commissioned by numerous esteemed clients, including Parker Pen, Toyota, and Penguin Books, to craft bespoke designs that capture specific themes, tones, or aesthetics. She can create breathtaking works of calligraphy to display at events or perform live demonstrations (in traditional Japanese attire) for guests to enjoy.
A captivating and unique form of event entertainment with timeless charm, this Japanese calligrapher is a perfect addition to dinners, hotels and resorts, cocktail receptions, corporate gatherings, themed events, and much more.
