Born in Kumamoto, Japan, this talented artist began practicing Japanese calligraphy at the young age of six and has brought this beautiful and ancient Japanese art form to events and audiences worldwide.

With a natural talent for calligraphy and the ability to execute each brushstroke with fluidity and confidence, she was honored with the title of "Master" at 18 and the top title of "Professor" by the prestigious Japan Calligraphy Foundation the following year. Along with this highest award, she received the calligrapher name "佳萩", which translates broadly to a gracious yet strong wildflower blooming in wild mountains, adding a touch of beauty to its surroundings.

Throughout her career, she has been commissioned by many high-profile clients such as Parker Pen, Toyota, and Penguin Books to create custom designs that embody a specific theme, tone, or aesthetic. She can create stunning works of calligraphy to display at events or perform live in traditional Japanese dress for guests to watch.
