Comedian Jay
Jay describes his comedy as Social Conscience Comedy, blending observational, political, and straight stand-up, aiming to make people think about his material after they’ve laughed.
He was deeply involved with Comedy Improvisation as part of the first all-Asian Impro Team, which now tours Canada and the US.
Writing is one of Jay’s passions. He has written a sketch show that is currently being reviewed by several TV companies and is working on a feature-length film script.
He also created a short film, entered it into a major short film competition, and made it to the finals.
In his limited free time, Jay teaches stand-up comedy.
He has performed everywhere from small comedy clubs to large theaters, on television, and even internationally (France, Croatia, New York, LA).
