Spanish Guitar & Flamenco
This flamenco guitarist grew up immersed in the flamenco culture, with his father, also a flamenco performer, as his first teacher. In 1990, he began his studies at Cartagena’s Music Conservatory and graduated a few years later. He then pursued a Master’s Degree at Murcia University. Throughout his career, he won numerous prestigious awards such as the first prize at the Las Minas International Cante Flamenco Festival, the National Guitar Prize at the Cordoba Flamenco Festival, and the first prize at the Calasparra Flamenco Festival.
Today, he is recognized as one of the most renowned flamenco guitarists in southern Spain. The highly respected Spanish newspaper “El Pais” recently featured an article about him, highlighting his national significance. He has released five solo albums. Over his career, he has performed in cities like New York, Paris, London, Frankfurt, Munich, Hannover, Stockholm, Dublin, Lausanne, Naples, Caserta, Milan, Amman, Tehran, Cairo, Alexandria, Tokyo, Moscow, Casablanca, Mexico, Caen, Oxford, Lisbon, Porto, Tunis, and more. He typically performs solo concerts but also offers shows with dancers and other musicians.
