Stefan Gates is a popular BBC TV food and science presenter known for his quirky culinary quests and unique food science adventures. He has written and hosted 16 TV series, including Food Factory (BBC1), E Numbers: An Edible Adventure (BBC2), and Secrets of Your Supermarket Food (Channel 5), which air in over 50 countries.
Stefan also presents the children's TV series Incredible Edibles and Gastronauts on CBBC and performs live science shows like Fartology and Weirdology at festivals and schools across the UK. He is the author of eight books, including Fartology and Science You Can Eat. A graduate of Oxford University, Stefan’s TV career began with his book of food adventures, leading to his first series, Full On Food (BBC2) in 2004.
