Belly Dancer Deniz

Belly Dancer Deniz has been passionate about Middle Eastern dance since she was inspired by a dancer as a child and has been dancing professionally for the past 12 years.

Trained in Egyptian and Turkish dance, she uses props like veils, sticks, Isis wings, swords, double swords, and even dances on glasses. She offers workshops, private lessons, and solo performances. Upon request, Deniz can also bring you an authentic Eastern experience with a full dance troupe.

Deniz learned the beautiful art from top professional dancers including Khaled Mahmoud, Magdy el Leisy, and Heather Burbyin in Turkey, Egypt, and England. She is now a certified teacher of Keti Sharif's “A-Z of Belly Dance” and “A-Z advanced Belly Dance,” teaching Egyptian, Turkish, and Tribal styles.

Belly Dancer Deniz has performed with other professional belly dancers on English and Turkish TV, participated in the festival of dance, Sky 1′s TV Show Got to Dance, as well as in carnivals, festivals, celebrations, and weddings.

Deniz has an amazing array of costumes; her authentic dance skills and passion shine through in every performance, bringing the audience a true taste of Middle Eastern dance.
