Cockney Themed Band

Celebrating all things Cockney, this band of professional musicians and singers will give your guests a lively good time with all their favorite Cockney tunes!

The practice of wearing clothes decorated with 'pearly buttons' began in 19th century England when costermongers decorated the seams of their trousers with mother-of-pearl buttons found by market traders. A street sweeper and charity fundraiser adapted this costume to create a pearly suit that would draw attention and help his fundraising efforts - and thus, the tradition of the pearly suit was born!

Adding a touch of history to your event, these pearl-adorned performers can appear solo, as a duo, or as a full Cockney band with six musicians! Their fun renditions of Cockney favorites and comedy songs like 'Pack Up Your Troubles,' 'Knees Up Mother Brown,' 'Maybe It’s Because I’m A Londoner,' and 'The Lambeth Walk' will get everyone out on the dance floor. Every guest will also receive a mini Union Jack flag to wave for the fantastic finale!
