I Puppets

This international street theater group was established in 1991 and combines various disciplines of performing arts, including dance, music, and circus, with stunning visual representations. Their spectacular performances are narrative-driven and can be described as magical and hypnotic. This atmosphere is enhanced by the portrayal of almost mythical characters, recognizable by their archetypal appearance and oversized costumes. Their performance style is interactive, surprising, and direct: performers on stilts move among the audience, immersing them in the world of the performance.

The company has been invited by numerous renowned international festivals to perform as either the opening or final act. All of their productions share one key trait: visually powerful street theater that transcends age, language, and cultural boundaries.

I-Puppets is a mobile act featuring 5 puppet players. The eyes are illuminated and the sounds come from their costumes. The movements of the puppets are synchronized with the players.
