Music Comedy Show
This music hall comedy act offers a sing-along show in the finest British tradition. The guys play a host of instruments such as accordion, ukulele, tuba, and washboard. Also included are more unusual instruments like the musical saw, Chinese chastity bells, and even sheep. This is a very interactive show with everyone in full costume and character the whole time. The band has performed in almost every situation you can imagine, and some you probably couldn't—or shouldn't.
The Music Comedy Show was the house band for the award-winning National Theatre show ‘The Masque of the Red Death,’ which sold out for 9 months at Battersea Arts Centre. In addition to shows for Wilton's Music Hall, Whoopee Club, White Mischief, and at the Blackpool Wintergardens, the guys have performed at numerous bars, private parties, and weddings.
The usual lineup* is a quartet of 4 multi-instrumentalist singers:
Maestro Paul - accordion
Rupert - baritone ukulele and mandolin
Mr. Sandiford - double bass
Matty Blake - baby drum set
The show can be expanded to include up to seven musicians, with circus and variety acts if needed. We can also perform in smaller groups, starting from a duo and up.
